Yesterday Doug took the day off from work so we could have fun as a family. We took the kids to the Hogle Zoo and then we walked around Temple Square and the Church History Museum. The kids seem to have a really good time. They enjoyed seeing all the animals and being outside at the zoo. Andrew was not happy when it was time to get off the Carousel and the Train...he was pretty loud with his screaming. At least people understood and they just laughed. :)
Temple Square was nice and quiet and Elizabeth loved to see the temple (sounds like a song I know). She enjoyed the reflection pool out in front and loved seeing the Christus. We were all pretty worn out by the time we got home. I even fell asleep along with the kids on the drive back. Here are some pictures of our fun day.
