The Joy of Kids

I try to remind myself that children are a blessing from our Heavenly Father and we should enjoy our time with them. Elizabeth is a very stubborn independent little girl and it shows all the time. We have been having trouble getting her to sleep at night again. Last night she sat at the gate that we put in her doorway to keep her in and screamed for a good half hour or so. When Doug and I went to go to bed she was asleep on the floor next to the gate. We thought it was pretty funny.

Andrew has no hair! He was starting to get the old man look and so Doug wanted to cut his hair again. I wasn't planning on shaving his head complete, but that is what Doug was planning. He is so bald now! I keep waiting for it grow in a little so it can be soft again. He is finally starting to stay sitting when we put him down. Here is a cute picture of our happy boy!

We had our nephew, Preston, over for a little while on Monday and Elizabeth had a blast playing with him. The two together were trouble, but it was fun to have him here. They enjoyed looking out the window and watching the trains go by. They also had fun playing in the kitchen and cooking me lots of food!
