Our Little Family

I'm new at this so I hope it doesn't come across as cheesy. We have a lot of family out there that have never even seen one of my kids, so I thought a blog would be good to keep everyone updated on our lives. The kids are getting so big now - Elizabeth is almost 2 1/2 and Andrew is almost 5 months.

Elizabeth has quite the personality; some would say she is a lot like me, only 10 times worse. The other day she was trying to tell me how to drive...LOL. At least when I was her age I was only telling my dad to buckle up! :) She loves to clean and help us cook. She also has a lot of her father in her...She tends to talk like him.

Andrew is such a happy baby now. He is HUGE!! He may only be 4 1/2 months but he is almost out of 9 month clothing. I have been working on getting him to roll or sit up. He tends to get upset when he is sitting up because he starts to lean forward and get stuck. In the morning when he wakes up he doesn't cry to get my attention, he starts talking and laughing...this usually puts me in a good mood in the mornings.

Doug graduated with his Bachelor's last April and he is in the process of searching for a new career that would take us to Arizona. He has been working really hard on this, but with this economy right now, nothing is happening for us. We have had our condo on the market for a little over 4 months and no bites. We are gearing up for the winter in Utah.

As for me...I am keeping busy as usual. I am working on getting my promotional business more customers. I have hired our cousin Steve to do sales for me. I am still the treasurer for the HOA which keeps pretty busy. On top of all this I am looking for a seasonal job to help pay for extras. I am really looking forward to moving to Arizona and the heat. It starting snowing today and I am not excited about it. Oh well - this is where we are supposed to be for now. I hope you enjoy reading our family blog from time to time.
